What is a Rubik Cube?

Rubik's cube is a 3-D puzzle. It was first created by Ernő Rubik in 1974. Ernő Rubik is famous for inventing mechanical puzzle's like Rubik's Cube.

Rubik's Cubes were named after Ernő Rubik but they are originally named as "Magic Cube". People also called them Puzzle Cube's.  Its a 3*3 Rubik puzzle which has six faces. Each face has a color. The original colors of all six faces are red, green, yellow, white, blue and orange. Each face consists of nine blocks of same color like white face has nine blocks of white color and the center one contain the logo of Rubik Cube.


Their are different models of Rubik cubes developed so far and they have a unique color scheme like white face is opposite to yellow face, orange is opposite red and blue is opposite to green. All of the faces are arrange in a clockwise arrangement. The position of the faces of colors varies from cube to cube because a lot of different companies have developed Rubik Cubes.

The Rubik cubes gain a lot of fame in 1980. They are popular now a days too. their is a "World Cube Association" in which a lot of speed cubers test their speed of solving cubes. the world record for solving a cube has an average time per solve is 6.54 seconds. Its really a fun  game. It also sharpen your mind and even used for relaxing your mind.  


My average time per solve is 2 minutes i'm still practicing on making a rank in top speed cubers.
