The first Rubik's cube created is a 3*3 Rubik's Cube. But as time passes many different kinds and shapes of Cubes were developed. They have different shape and design and they solve by different methods. Various Types Of Cubes Each cube has its own unique name and unique shape. They solve differently and that's the fun of solving magic cubes that you don't need to be bore by learning and solving same shaped cube each time. Magic cubes have a lot of variety that people can enjoy to solve.  Remember this that those cubes that are created by Rubik's are known as Rubik's cube while we called others as Magic Cube or Puzzle Cube. I have more than 30 cubes of my own that i collected over the year. Each cube is different from other and i have solved almost all of them. I even planned to create my own Magic/Puzzle Cube. What is a Rubik Cube? Rubik's cube is a 3-D puzzle. It was first created by Ernő Rubik in 1974.  Ernő Rubik is famous for inventing mechanical puzzle's like Rubik's Cube. Rubik's Cube Rubik's Cubes were named after Ernő Rubik but they are originally named as "Magic Cube". People also called them Puzzle Cube's.  Its a 3*3 Rubik puzzle which has six faces. Each face has a color. The original colors of all six faces are red, green, yellow, white, blue and orange. Each face consists of nine blocks of same color like white face has nine blocks of white color and the center one contain the logo of Rubik Cube. Their are different models of Rubik cubes developed so far and they have a unique color scheme like white face is opposite to yellow face, orange is opposite red and blue is opposite to green.
